Cory helped secure more than $1.3 million in government bonds to plan, design and equip a new grocery store in one of the City’s historically neglected neighborhoods.
Investing in Our Educators
Cory and his wife, Demetria, started the Demetria Boyd Foundation Merit Scholarship Endowment to support Baltimore City residents who attend Coppin State’s School of Education.
Connecting Our Youth to Apprenticeship
An electrician by trade, Cory organized a pilot program to introduce high school students who may not want to go to college to specialty training centers and opportunities in the City.
